Child Care Services Concordia Children's House is dedicated to helping your child discover the joy of learning. One of the reasons learning is such an enjoyable activity at Concordia Children's House is that it takes place in a warm and caring environment -- "a home away from home." For parents and children enrolled full-time in our Children's House and Elementary School, we offer child care. At our Concord campus, Child Care is available from 7-8:30 a.m. and 3-6:30 p.m. At our Martinez campus, the childcare hours are 7:30-8:30 a.m. and 3-6 p.m. Children in the child care program have opportunities to use our outdoor recreational equipment, and take part in our after-school activities, such as art, music and story telling. Little ones take a nap in the early afternoon, followed by a nutritious snack. Safe and Secure The child care program at the Concordia Children's House is fully licensed by the State of California and certified by the Professional Association of Childhood Education. Our classes and child care are unique in that we assure greater attention to your child's emotional, physical and educational needs.
Holidays and Vacations Child care is offered year round. Although our learning centers follow the public school calendar, we still provide optional child care, at a moderate cost, during the winter, spring, and summer breaks with sufficient enrollment. Two summer programs, with extended child care, are offered. The first session (mid-June through mid-July) continues classroom learning. The second session (mid-July through August) focuses on creative arts and nature projects. We are closed only one full week a year -- usually the last week of August -- for staff training. |
